Storage Space Gets a Quick Makeover

A sprinkle of cinnamon and a hint of honey... Sometimes , a little can do a lot. 

This was the effect i imagined for my shelving unit, just a bit of color to liven the dull facade of untreated wood.

I used 

• Flower pattern stencil made from a cardboard cutout
• Spray paint with a matte finish

Stick some paper tape to hold the loose edges of the pattern together 

Place the stencil against the surface and start spray painting. Keep the nozzle at least 15 cm away and make sure to mask your nose and mouth. 

Don't worry if you mess it up a little, it's charming :)
