Shoe Rack Rack City Chick

I have to admit that i was a late shoe bloomer who started wearing heels at the tender age of 25 so i'm a fairly young addict with no intention to ever get cured!  EVER

Like most girls out there , no closet is big enough to display all your shoes so i turned to Ikea to resolve yet another space management crisis with these white shoe boxes that fit 2 pairs each.

The only issue was that i couldn't clearly see through the lid and it was a struggle every morning to find the pair i wanted .

So I printed out these colorful pictures of my feet 

Using Blu-Tack or a stapler to stick them on (tape will not it on hold for long)

Et voila! Tres city chick

Belles does Bridal

Hoorah! This is my first post in the past 8 weeks and it feels goooooooood! My new job at a digital media agency was taking most of my free time but now i've settled in and will be crafting and blogging again.

So what happened in the last 8 weeks? A few trips back home and a family wedding. For those who know me , i've become passionate about hand made bridal accessories and it's crazy to know there aren't many local brands out there. So what better day to debut my first creation then on my cousin's beautiful blonde locks.

Post Valentines Crafting - Un

It's been 2 weeks since Valentines day , by now many girls and women around the world were trying desperately to preserve a rose or two from their secret admirers, boyfriends, partners, fiances and husbands. Some changed the water and added vitamins on a daily basis, others cut off leaves and stems while many like me let them hang out to dry , hoping that this bouquet will last forever . . .

While placing them in a vase or empty wine bottles is beautiful, there are plenty other ideas to preserve the roses. Here is the first of three.

What you'll need : Wire hanger, lace, thin metal wire, glue gun and beads

The candy wrapper purses and wallets craze hit our side of the world back in 2010 and i've been wanting to make my own for the longest time . It's possible when you find great tutorials like the ones from this blog but my issue was never having enough candy wrappers!

DIY : Valentine's Dinner Table Setting

If you're planning a romantic night in with your partner , here are 3 little ideas that can do a lot for the dinner table. You won't need more than 30 minutes to prepare so there's plenty of time to get ready and even hit the gym!

What you'll need :
- Red tissue paper
- 2 empty bottles of wine
- Thin rope or any string
- Paper doilies
- Scissors and color pens

I mixed colors for the second pom pom

Tiny pom poms to decorate the chop sticks (you can use them to accessorize almost anything)

Love stories start with a glass of wine .... or two 

A cute idea to surprise your other half :)
