The candy wrapper purses and wallets craze hit our side of the world back in 2010 and i've been wanting to make my own for the longest time . It's possible when you find great tutorials like the ones from this blog but my issue was never having enough candy wrappers!

DIY : Valentine's Dinner Table Setting

If you're planning a romantic night in with your partner , here are 3 little ideas that can do a lot for the dinner table. You won't need more than 30 minutes to prepare so there's plenty of time to get ready and even hit the gym!

What you'll need :
- Red tissue paper
- 2 empty bottles of wine
- Thin rope or any string
- Paper doilies
- Scissors and color pens

Paper pom poms as seen on Martha Stewart

I mixed colors for the second pom pom

Tiny pom poms to decorate the chop sticks (you can use them to accessorize almost anything)

Love stories start with a glass of wine .... or two 

A cute idea to surprise your other half :)

DIY : Valentines Puzzle Frame

If Jerry Maguire is one of your all time favorite romantic movie then you're going to love this project!

Inspired of course by THE scene (sigh) here's how i transformed a children's puzzle into a Valentines frame with somewhat of a worn out look

Cut in circles

Cover the puzzle

Add a generous layer of mod podge

and let it dry naturally

Tear off the tissue around the edges for that vintage look

Valentines Oh Valentines! The only day when cheesy declarations of love are expected and romance is king. By now all the shops have their window dressed with glitter hearts , you've been bombarded with restaurant deals and for the few out there, got your invites to the anti-valentines party.

I myself caught the love bug and worked on a few projects to celebrate this day and here's the first !

Sleeping Beauty with a Brain

How much fun is it to get ready for a business trip?! First shop for the perfect outfit (Olivia Palermo nails the look) then rehearse your presentation while getting a new manicure ..... I just love being a girl.

And being the girl that i am , i got inspired to transform a complementary airline travel mask into a stylish travel accessory. It's so cute, you'll want one for yourself!

Cut some pattern fabric into strips

 Fold each strip then roll into the shape of a flower

Stitch the fabric flowers in the shape of a bigger flower

Now go and seal the deal!
